Man’s salvation by the Savior at the last days is one of the important debates that various religions including Abrahamic religions have addressed. In the Old and New Testaments, there are many various verses about the Savior of the Last Days and its related titles. One of the titles is “the Son of Man”. Jews intellects believe that the Son of Man is the Savior of the Last Days. Rather, Christian thinkers, while presenting different interpretations of the Son of Man, believe that according to the words of Jesus Christ, the Son of Man is the Jesus himself who returns at the end of the world and establishes the Divine kingdom. But, considering the functional features mentioned for the Son of Man in the holy Bible, one can conclude that the Son of Man is expelled from a definite person and the possibility that the Son of Man is someone other than Jesus Christ is strengthened. This research investigates the comparison and contrast of the Son of Man with the promised Mahdi, with a descriptive-analytic approach and with the aim of explaining the position of the Last Days’ term i.e. Son of Man in the holy Bible.
