The doctrine of Mahdism is a strategy of the Islamic religion for coordinating various strategies for the Islamic future in the Humanities. This doctrine derives from a specific anthropology in a monotheistic framework, substantiating the hypothesis of "similar humans" to "firm humans" and, with the centrality of the person of the Imam, delineating both the start and finish of all knowledge that purports to understand humanity or knowledge for humanity. The doctrine of Mahdism is presented to mankind in an age when the Humanities are exposed to adverse conditions under the direct impact of Western philosophical advancement. The purpose of this research is to analyze the impact of philosophical progress on the state of the Humanities, to ascertain the role of the Mahdism doctrine in determining the Humanities, and to clarify the capacities that make this doctrine viable in theoretical and real-world frameworks. The analysis is conducted using trend analysis and imagery methods. The results imply that in subsequent studies on the Humanities, one must remember the potentialities of the Mahdism doctrine. In this doctrine, the emphasis on the dimension of fitrah (innate nature) as the locus of the Humanities' transfiguration, revealed rationality as a methodological virtue in these sciences, and truth-seeking in the context of the process of history, make the implementation of Mahdism in the future of the Humanities profoundly significant.
