The discourse of Mahdism in the thought of martyr Ayatollah Khamenei is not merely a doctrinal belief, but can be examined as an effective semantic framework in explaining individual identity, collective action, and understanding global developments. Given the prominence of the concept of resistance in the discourse of the Islamic Republic, examining the relationship between Mahdism, resistance, and the evolving global order is of analytical importance. The aim of this article is to reconstruct the semantic pattern governing Ayatollah Khamenei's statements in explaining this triple relationship. The research was conducted qualitatively and with a content analysis approach, and the data included statements related to Mahdism, expectation, and global justice in the period 1368 to 1400. Data analysis was conducted in three stages: extracting themes, organizing the relationships between them, and formulating a conceptual model. The findings show that Mahdism in his thought is a meaning-making system that produces "directional divine hope" and forms the identity and psychological foundation of resistance. Resistance is introduced as a practical manifestation of expectation and the engine of global transformations, and its connection with Mahdism provides a framework for understanding the world's transition from a system of domination to a justice-based system. The final model is a three-level structure of "meaning, action, and civilizational horizon."
